Christopher Martin is an individual member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and is a Certified Energy Procurement (CEP®). Before heading to Wall Street Chris served the United States as a Sargeant in the Air Force.  After serving the country in the military, he spent the next 20 years as a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).  Mr. Martin has been involved in all aspects of energy trading.  During his career he has held leadership positions within the NYMEX and was instrumental in launching the first exchange traded natural gas and electricity contracts.  While at the NYMEX he served on the Natural Gas Advisory Committee, was a Ring Chairman and went on to chair the Settlement Committee.  Since leaving the floor, Chris worked on and grew the energy pricing desks for both Tradition Financial Services and North American Power. With this experience and knowledge of energy markets, Chris offers superior pricing judgment and execution for end users of both electricity and natural gas.
